We dance

And we dance from
the warmth of her eyes – that
warmth we feel (you know
the one, it delights in
surprising us

when we’re too cold to
laugh) as that smile we
see (you know the
one, it speaks silently
in secret to us

when the world passes too close)
pulls us close with a
tug, shelter and
home in one.
