Skipping stones

I want to imbibe her
like skipping stones collecting water
from a lake before
finally giving in.

Listen to the sound of ripples
leaving furtive clues to the jewel
hidden under
the billowing surface.

Rocks sink but
she glitters with stardust under
her fingernails & I crave
a noiseless supernova
unbound by gravity.

I want
I want
I want
