The sun headed west to better places
leaving us in the dark
as to when to expect it again.
You guessed tomorrow but I thought
we should wait & see. After reflecting,
the moon thought our question salty
and refused to share an opinion.

The moon never has an opinion… it’s merely a mirror for sunlight

She’s a wily one, isn’t she? Funny, she herself sometimes looks salted in stars.

I can imagine the moon would be aloof like that: astutely observed!

Delightful conversation tidbit and I agree with the moon. At least let her shine a bit before you ask her when she’ll have to give up the throne.Enjoyed.

I’m always waiting for that moon to come around again. I may enjoy sunlight, but I’ll take moonlight any day.
